Make sure you invite all your mechanical and plumbing system designers to see this presentation followed by a Q&A with the Deputy state boiler inspector. His focus for this presentation will be to the engineers and designers.

Kevin Burke - Deputy Boiler Inspector

In 1977, I went to work as a Boilermaker’s Helper in the San Diego Naval Shipyards.  I learned all phases of boiler repair, was promoted to journeyman, and earned certification in all positions of pipe welding. Fast forwarding 30 years to 2007, I took and passed the National Board of Boiler Inspectors examination.  This presented an opportunity to apply and accept a position with the Florida Fire Marshal’s office providing protection to the citizens of Florida.
